Marijuana use in India has become a complex issue. Currently, 2.8% of the Indian population is addicted to marijuana. It is linked to culture, history, science, and public policy. As society advances, it becomes increasingly important to face the facts of marijuana usage and move past obsolete stereotypes. To navigate this complicated landscape of marijuana addiction, informed discussions, research, and intelligent policymaking are required. By doing so, India may be able to utilize the benefits of medical marijuana, tap the economic potential of hemp, and build a more just and equitable society for all of its residents.
