Sweethearts pays artistic tribute to The Byrds' Sweetheart of the Rodeo, showcasing Christian Parker's talent as a skilled musician and capturing the essence of the original masterpiece.

In the summer of 1968, ‘Sweethearts of the Rodeo’ was released. I was born that summer and first heard the album when I was 16. Working with the original session players Earl Pool Ball & JayDee Maness has genuinely been a blessing, and I will never forget this opportunity. This album inspired me to be a songwriter the first time I heard it!
